I was a happy user of this plugin and would still recommend it, as it is indeed easier to use. The problem is that I ran into a bug [1] that would break the rest of my Gimp install. Note that the plan to resolve it is "convert the resynthesizer plugins from Python 2 to Python 3" but AFAIK this hasn't happened yet. This bug occurs in one computer but not in the other. And once I discovered G'mic I honestly lost the drive to dig deeper into why this happens. [1] https://github.com/bootchk/resynthesizer/issues/88 |
