Like with most things Apple puts into the OS, it's designed to serve the 80%. For power users, or anyone who doesn't fit into Apple's implementation, 3rd party apps can fill the gaps. These utilities will either adapt to better serve power users, or they'll shutdown. That's usually how it goes. |
