Wikipedia: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Extract,_transform,_load I'll just add: It is a common term and practice among enterprise software users, i.e. generally medium or large companies that use packaged plus custom software for their business needs. ETL is not common among startups, because they have a different focus, infrastructure and scale. |
