Well it's not a "wish", we voted for it. Considering the current relationship between the Federal Council and the EU, I don't think it would be close this time around. Edit: Actually there was a votation for adhesion to the European Economic Area in 1992, but also for full adhesion to the EU in 2001 (rejected at 76.8%). Switzerland is not even close to become a member state. |
