I think the issue is that I can make something simple, say a timer app or todo app, but I don't put it out there because I don't think it's necessarily unique nor signals technical talent. It just shows baseline competency (if even that these days). But I appreciate your last couple of points. I do admire prolific people, but it is just a trait like any other.
