Hmmm. There used to be a huge population of stray dogs in Balkan cities after 1990. (Contraception and culling reduced the numbers quite a bit since then.) Most of the time, they just went out of people's way, individually or in loose packs. Attacks on humans did happen, but weren't a daily occurrence. That said, a stray dog in a big city will always find food, so they weren't hungry. |
