Takeout for Gmail has usually worked well for me, albeit not exported too many massive amounts this way. My main use case is backing up Gmail accounts of users in our GSuite org, before deleting an account. 1. Reset password and login as user
2. Initiate Gmail Takeout, export to Google Drive
3. Return to admin, and delete user account, using the option to xfer their entire Drive to admin user |
