It will probably kill off the commercial version in due time as well

Yes, I think it should be canceled as soon as possible, plans never catch up with changes. But I'd love to hear the reasons why? Why did Microsoft do it?

Simple economics: not enough people are paying for it so the focus is on enterprise.

My totally anecdotal evidence (three people at different companies exploring LLMs) say MSFT won't be getting the revenue from enterprise either
