I think that is unfair. The productivity per person in old projects like RollerCoaster Tycoon is impressive. But the overall result pales in comparison with modern games. Saying the field has stopped producing anything of real value is very wrong. To me it's like comparing a cathedral made by 100 people over 100 years to a shack without made by one person in one month. Like it stands I suppose. It gives him shelter and lets him live. But it's no cathedral. |
