I bought into Alexa/Echo because at the time my late wife could not work remote controls (Multiple Sclerosis). She only had her voice. It was great for her to play different radio stations, playlists, news. It did the job. I did try linking it to a TV but that was terrible. Slow, janky, unreliable. Since she died - Dec 2018 - "Alexa play LBC" "Alexa stop" Oh, if you do have an Alexa device "Alexa, what noise does a hamster make?" |

I just did this and it said "Here's a hippopotamus' grunt"
So that's how it's going for Alexa in my house
