ugh, RCS is the worst. I'm all for interoperability but can we at least use something that isn't so awful?

I think it's a shame too, but I blame Google at least as much as Apple for pushing this ridiculous standard in the first place.

As if there was any need to increase the lock-in to phone numbers and mobile carriers for communication and identification any more...
