Hilariously, this works even if the patient is aware of the placebo effect. I'm on antidepressants (first time in my life) since two weeks ago. I feel MUCH better already. But the drug I'm taking starts working at least 4 weeks after therapy starts. There was not a single trial where it performed better than placebo during a shorter timeframe. And yet I feel better. |
