I should have added "considering". Many of my friends' TVs take 20, 30, sometimes even longer between pressing the "on" button (from standby) and actually showing an image/letting you navigate any menu because whatever "smartness" the TV runs has to do... whatever it needs every time. I should add on the Panasonic, most of the turning on time is spent switching refresh rate to whatever source it's showing. |
