Author of the article here - thanks for posting! Was an interesting journey to developing this. We kept getting demands for blurring but didn't implement it for a long time because we knew blurring wasn't secure. We implemented masking via black rectangles, but kept getting requests for blurring. Was great to finally land on this solution. |
