I don't think that Greenplum's closed source means your product has a chance! In fact, most Greenplum derivatives follow the changes in Greenplum's upstream code. Now that it is closed source, it also means that it is not so easy to refer to Greenplum's code. |

Maybe you're right. The Cloudberry Database is just one alternative and option for the existing Greenplum users if they want to continue using it.
Now Greenplum source code repo is achieved, not closed source. You can still download its source code but it will not upgrade and cannot get the latest code from its GitHub.
