Also, BTW: 1) Since by that point I had clicked on it, I knew it wasn't something like "a sci-fi story" but an actual statement. 2) Sci-fi stories aren't factual truth, so yeah, in the strict literal sense they're "false" too. There, hope you're happy with the discussion you sparked. Hey, if you agree with the author (or maybe are him, for all I know), you could of course have tried to reinforce his arguments by rational discussion, but you chose not to. I didn't run this discusion all by myself. |
