> one thing worth recognizing is that very few careers are as age biased as tech. I worked in an industry were 40 was considered "young" and ever since I hit lates-30s in tech I've been the "old guy". I was called "grandpa" by my office mates in a job when I was 35. You can't get away with that overtness with today's word-policing, but even if the words are banned, I think the attitudes have not really changed. |
