Ask HN: Will running a search on many engines decrease the value of tracking?

I wonder whether using a meta search engine like searxng that runs the same search terms on several search engines, could possibly go at the disadvantage of data brokers. As in.. everybody knows what I'm after...So it is not as valuable as if only one search engine was used and so only one company knew my search terms. In an market-wise scenario, I can see one or more entities lower the price in order to sell or sell quick.

is it? Or will this make it worse for privacy/surveillance?
