Also, having a demo on your landing page that asks a user to fill out a bunch of stuff and only after that demands an email address in order to see the results is a very annoying dark pattern. Be up front with the data you're requiring to use your tool.

Hey there - appreciate the input. There's API costs involved for us to run the analysis, and I got spammed pretty fast after running some early tests - hence the validation via email. Open for feedback on how to run the validation without a signup. For me, this seemed the most user-friendly + fastest way.

That's good input on the "dark pattern" - I'll add a note in the beginning to inform users about that.
