Gedit. Why? Ubuntu is my preferred OS distro and it comes pre-installed. It's pretty cool and lets me do text editing and scripting / programming for smaller projects. ## Honorable mentions Scite, SublimeText 2, Leafpad (Xfce), Notepad++ etc. |
