When will 2560x1440p finally become a standard among these streaming services? It's either 1920x1080 or 4k, nothing in between (pricewise, but also client/browser wise)

Most gaming monitors also seem to be primarily 2650x1440. The 4k ones cost significantly more.
It's one of the reasons i cancelled Geforce Now, a total lack of support for Linux on higher resolutions. An alternative should consider the downsides of the competition. (don't get me wrong, i really like this initiative :)
