> Also, as a fun fact, since there are thousands of items, old bad produce can be often be missed. One time I found some prunes that had been past their best-before date for nearly a year. I once bought a glass of jam in a store that was already past its best-before date. It was still perfectly good, especially for baking. If I had seen that before leaving the store, I might have tried to haggle down the price :) |
