How is this different than Dropbox, One Drive, iCloud or any of a dozen cloud sync tools?

What problem does it solve for ownership? How is saving a file to this service any more secure or available than saving it to Dropbox?

What "deeply integrated suite of products" are you talking about? Seems like you are just talking about cloudsync to me.
