Why would you not enforce a particular belief about how a language should be designed? There are languages designed around being able to do anything you want at any time regardless of if it makes sense, and then you end up with everyone using their own fractured subset of language features that don't even work well together. Not every language needs to be the same feature slop that supports everything poorly and nothing well. |
