More time spent doom scrolling is of no benefit. More money spent on higher rents is of no benefit.

You can choose how much to doom scroll or not, but you can't individually dictate the price of rent. That's dictated by the earnings of those around you.

And it depends on how prone you're to invest ALL your time & money into your "thing"? Less for europeans, more for americans?
