I hope I can comment on the above without taking a side in the current Israeli/Palestinian conflict: Reddit seems to, on average, take a pro-Palestinian stance (they are practically jumping out of their seats over what is happening at Columbia), but for some reason /r/worldnews has a heavy, heavy Zionist slant. Many people see Reddit as truth, and so it concerns me that either of these positions are accepted as the best course forward. |
