Are there separate radios for BT/WiFi (Apple) and LTE modem (Qualcomm)? If so, it might be possible to turn off just the LTE modem by pulling down one pin, while allowing the rest of the phone to function normally without OS/firmware modification. WiFi can be locked to whitelisted SSIDs via Apple Configurator. |
