There are maybe five people in the world that care about network transparency (an exaggeration, but probably not more than 2 magnitudes of order off). X11 was built for every scenario conceivable. Wayland is being built for end-user thick devices. What you decide not to do is more important than what you decide to do. And some dedicated soul managed to get it working anyway, as a sibling comment has pointed out. |
