Those carry on wouldn't have to be so large if. * Airlines didn't charge so much for checked luggage * Airlines didn't routinely lose checked luggage * Airlines didn't routinely mishandle checked luggage, ripping bags, damaging contents and scuffing or tearing off wheels. * Airlines didn't deny luggage repairs/replacements for damaged ones. I've had Delta punch a hole through a hardshell suitcase with an aluminum frame and deny that it was damaged "beyond normal wear and tear" |
