Got more details about what you're referring to?

For example, I know they have auto-subtitle stuff, but it's pretty ancient tech and I haven't seen it improve much since it was launched and it has still glaring shortcomings, like not being able to split out different people speaking or infer punctuation.

I'm not the OP, but recently, YouTube has started adding an automatic summary below videos. Before that, they also started adding automatic chapter titles, which, in my experience, are surprisingly good for navigating slide-based talks but are otherwise fairly hit-or-miss
