Tool to manage project's all links and its access

When joining a new team, have you ever experienced that after going through onboarding document, you still end up finding out that you missed access to some tool or dashboard or group?

I feel, this poor management of links in onboarding documents is because of lack of structure in them. I think it can be better addressed with a dedicated tool to manage project's links. Even the managers right now aren't aware of which teammate lacks required access.

So, what are your thoughts on a tool to manage all project's links which will provide quicker, comprehensive onboarding and better monitoring for managers.

In every team, I worked we solved this with a simple wiki page where we listed the stuff we needed to get work done. We even have a copy+paste+send to IT email to get licenses and accounts.
