So I’m shifting into CS after a career I cannot do anymore. My best advice to you is to start having adventures. You’re in Italy! I’d do just about anything to get my family EU right to work, you’re in a very good spot. Go backpacking in Spain (I’ve done it now 2x), or climb a volcano (there should be one near you). The experiences you have will be the only thing you’ll look back on fondly when you’re an old man, go have experiences. If you’re in a really bad spot, I don’t know how you could but is there a way you could reach out to me on here short of publishing my contact info on HN? Might I suggest reading Man’s Search for Meaning (by Viktor Frankl) and doing things that excite you. Find those things and do them! |
