My wife brought in about $350K. Does marrying a smart and hard working woman count as "passive income"?

The "passive income" meme does not help people invest better. If you want income from assets, Treasury bill rates exceed 5%. To earn more income you need to take risk. A stock that yields 5% may not be a better investment than a stock whose share count shrinks 5% annually due to buybacks. Total return matters more than "income".

So far, S&P 500 index fund investment returns, followed closely by high yield savings account returns.
