I want to answer this cause I do use vs code. It has made some of the more "infrequent" and hobby tasks I do (think 3d printer firmware) manageable. VS code is a bad idea for the same reason vim is a bad idea. I can and have sat down at someone else's VS code setup and gone "what the fuck is going on here". Homginzied, uniform, boring, standard, these are the things you need to have going on to really make it work. |
