Hey fellow HN people! This is a call of help for anyone who is reading this. I am currently an adept Python/AI engineer having 7 years of experience currently working Remote for US company. Recently, a close family member was diagnosed with a relatively long-term illness for whom I need to be a care member. Despite this I am able to give 60-70 hours to my company as I work on Saturday-Sundays as well. The current job-scene I have is an up and coming startup and I want to transition to a more stable and robust job even if it means I get paid low. My ask is are there any opportunities for AI/ML/Data-Science engineers who might need someone with a stable team. I am not looking for the FAANG tech salary and I am ok to work on Sat-Sun. The only thing I am looking for a is a stable job with fair compensation that uses my skills well. Thank you for reading! |

You are underselling your self and will sound needy to any recruiter.
> I want ... stable and robust job even if it means I get paid low.
Again, not good to undersell yourself.
> I am ok to work on Sat-Sun.
Don't promise this on the get go as I mentioned before.
You should focus on your network. Work on what your strengths are and what value will you bring to a company. If you keep repeating the Sat/Sun you will get a job that will burn you and you will be looking for another job within months. Just my 2cents.
