I don’t see this sort of review as aggressive or hostile; rather, it displays the sort of inductive reasoning that we should all be doing more of in the face of wondrous claims that follow a recognizable pattern. Hype artists and bad faith actors thrive on amnesiac audiences, and it’s about time we were all a bit less credulous. |
