Yeah, I remember one day just after I got home in my manual VW rabbit, with the the engine still running, the gear in neutral, and my foot on the brake, suddenly the engine revved hard by itself. I put off the engine, and it has never occurred again as far as I can tell, but no one can convince me that that was not a case of unexplained acceleration due to some internal bug. |
