I'm running Snow Leopard 10.6.8 on a Core 2 Duo with the newest version of Chrome (19.0.1084.46) - no crash!

I haven't had the time yet to check the code properly but why do you have a 5090x6640 pixel canvas element?

Well, its created by scrollPath plugin: http://joelb.me/scrollpath/ Do you know anyone with MacOS Lion 10.7.4 who can try opening the page ? I've also tried to narrow down the problem and came to this: www.turshija.com/chromecrash One page crashes my mac, other one doesn't, and difference is only in one line ...

Opened with the newest version of Chrome on MacOS Lion 10.7.4 and it loaded without crashing.
