This seems to the most likely, and it's not unheard of, they have 'local regions' like osaka in Japan. Alternatively they could just stick a bunch of Outpost racks in the NYSE/NASDAQ data center and create an 'eXn.8xlarge' instance type and charge 100$ an hour. |
