How much are internships usually paid in the US? For some parts of the world (developing, especially) the GSoC stipend is ridiculously high.

Internships in the Us pays 3000 to 7000 per month vs Gsoc which pays 5000 for 3 months.

That's high, many internships are min wage or even unpaid.

I believe the MECOP program at Oregon State sets a floor of $16. 40 hours a week * 4 weeks gives you $2560.

I've been told almost all get more which is good because that seems quite low.
