I think this somewhat makes intuitive sense. I think most people caught Covid. Covid was most risky for people who had other illnesses. In the universe without Covid, many of those people would have died anyway. The people who survived Covid were on average healthier than the people it killed... so the life expectancy should go up post-peak-Covid. |
