The problem with this approach is that often for any sort of "Enterprise" deal the contract varies wildly, not just in agreed pricing terms but in length and terms and conditions. For example I've inked contracts where there were additional terms covering availability and refunds, severability, liability, and so on. This isn't unusual, but it usually does impact the price to some extent. Additionally for large contracts there is often feature work or support in the form of bespoke software deliverables. It's one thing if you, the SaaS, know what your price is, and everyone is more or less paying the same, in which case this tool works. But otherwise without all the additional contract nits it's not going to paint a clear picture. |
