Medieval serfs could be rewarded with food housing at no monetary cost as well, but it didn't make the system any less unjust. Also, having the company pay for infrastructure costs does not necessarily imply that users are getting the upper hand in this deal. They are providing "value" (quotes intentional) to customers at the lowest cost possible, otherwise it would not be a viable business. |
