The value of hard work is something we need to teach CEOs https://www.epi.org/publication/ceo-pay-in-2021/ I would love to see CEOs work my teenage summer job in my dad's rigging business. In the hot summer, I would load and unload oil and dirt-covered blocking, chains, and jacks and move molding machines in 90F factories with steel rollers and a forklift. You need to stay alert to keep your toes and fingers. I grew up with adults missing body parts from industrial accidents through "hard work." When a CEO loses a hand or an eye because of a bad deal, I'll consider they might know what hard work is. |
