Be sure to check out Atomiczombie.com, if you have not already. Definitely THE resource for frankenbike/recumbents. I've built two recumbents. One directly from their plans (the Meridian) and another one of my own design, a trike based on the Meridian. Bike hacking is a lot of fun!
