What was enlightening for me was watching my wife, who is a physician, work in electronic medical record software like EPIC. It's ugly, it's dense, the colors are high contrast. It also fits everything they need to see in one place and makes it easy to make changes. I do not think there would be a way to make it look "modern" without making it harder to use. |
