some of it has to be with regulations where data retention is required by the law ( Fintech/Telco). Other than that it's to learn more about client and use the data to reach more clients. In a perfect world, we should have the right to revoke our data access anytime we want, specially when there is a material change in management ( Exit/Acquired/CoFounder left) etc. |
