It's amazing to hear people arguing that the highest electricty prices in the OCED are somehow a sign of a working system: https://www.leadingedgeenergy.com.au/blog/highest-electricit... Not only does the Australian market have the highest consumer prices it also has the highest number of negative pricing events. In short: the only reason why the grid hasn't had a brownout since 2019 is because there hasn't been a major heatwave since 2019. |
