I don’t disagree that recognizing misalignments is important. But it also helps to slowly determine how you can help potential customers because B2B relationships are long term. Helping someone might be recommending a competing product that fits. That establishes trust and the future will be unlike the present. People change jobs. Needs change. Your capabilities change. Who knows you is the most important thing in sales. |
