I wonder if this refers to a central idea in Orthodox theology which is very clear to distinguish between: - God "υπάρχει" (Greek for existing under someone's authority, "υπ" under -"αρχή" authority) which is used in modern Greek for all things that simply exist and is false for God and, - God "είναι" (Greek for being, present tense) which is True of God and of nothing else. |
